This isn’t my normal photography post, so you’ll have to bear with me if you were here looking for something else. However, I just couldn’t contain this and had to share with you all a little bit about how proud I am of my husband’s hard work! He works with a company called New View Renovations and together with Jeff, Scott, Robert, Hayden, and John they have given this house new life. I’ve got the before and afters to prove it!
If your jaw didn’t just hit the floor… It should have. New doors, new windows, new roof!
This is the entry way from the front door.
The kitchen remodel is insane. Instead of there being three chopped up rooms, the living room, kitchen, and dining room now flow together creating a beautiful gathering place. Oh.. and no more wood paneling. 🙂
Looking toward the dining room.
The crown molding and wood floors really help make the space open up and feel fresh.
Updated cabinets, updated appliances, and can lighting throughout.
This room used to be a garage turned storage area. Now it is three separate rooms. You will walk in to the mud room and can go left into the house or straight into the laundry room. There is now a separate room for the pantry and it already has shelves installed!
Going to the bedrooms upstairs.
Hall and guest bathroom.
And my favorite… Bedroom #3 and the Master Bedroom combined as one! Normally, I would be so sad about losing a bedroom. You will find out later why I am a-okay with losing this space below. 🙂
This was the master bedroom and bath. Small and quaint. Now the entire space is the master bath with a separate shower and bath, a walk in closet, his and her vanities, and the toilet in a room by itself for more privacy.
As you can see in the photo on the bottom left, the hardwood floors run in the master bedroom as well.
Not pictured… I have them, but not the intense before and afters like I do on the main level. Oh yes, there is a whole other level to this home! If you go downstairs you will find a mini kitchen with space for a family room or game room. You will also find a full bath downstairs with an additional laundry hook-up, TWO more bedrooms, a media room, and a storage room. The basement was not finished when they got the project – there were only a few stud walls up. It is now complete!
This house went from 1770 sqft to 3780 sqft and is sitting on .80 acres. It is a beautiful space for a family in need of additional bedrooms and main level master.
